Kit includes a total of 6 skeins of our exclusive High Meadows blend of 45% alpaca, 40% linen, and 15% merino fibers.

You will receive 1 skein in each of the 6 colors: blue-charcoal, purple-charcoal, green-charcoal, brown-charcoal, red-charcoal, and black-charcoal.

Pattern is NOT included with this yarn kit.

Upon request, we can email you instructions on how to work the original pattern of 2 colors with the provided 6 colors as seen in the sample.

Description

Is it a vest or is it a stole?

Actually, it is a vest and a stole in one!

Wear it any way you like and have fun with figuring out more versions.

Made in two pieces as front and back of a vest joined at shoulders. Side “seams” can be closed by attached snaps for a vest version or left open for a stole or poncho look. A nice big cowl collar is shaped with the pattern and needle size changes for a beautiful and functional form. Sophisticated and slim look of this design is achieved by a simple lace stitch pattern and strategically placed stripes of natural-colored yarn.

The yarn is an exclusive blend of US Northwest raised Alpaca and Wyoming Merino mixed with jewel-tone dyed linen yarn. Then the wool is over-dyed to a charcoal revealing the bright linen yarn which does not accept the dye used on the wools.

Each skein of our High Meadows yarn is a blend of 45% US alpaca, 40% linen, and 15% US merino that comes in 70 g (2.4 oz) of about 170 yards (155 m) per skein.
