This “Easy to Knit” linen lace shawl is a great introduction to working with linen lace yarn.
The pattern is simple with easy stitches and very forgiving. Choose what needle size to use, from US 2 – US 8+ (2.75 mm – 5 mm+) depending on how dense or lacey you would like the fabric to turn out and what size shawl you are aiming for. The yarn has a nice tight twist so that there is no splitting and is soft and easy to work with.
