Hand-woven in Riga (Latvia) for Baltic Linen Designs
This pattern we call Edward and it was inspired by the brief reign of King Edward XIII of England who abdicated the throne in 1936 in order to marry his love, Wallis Simpson, an American divorce. The pattern is rich with deep dark tones that resemble the overcast skies of winter in Britain and the somber era of the 1930’s.
The 100% linen scarf measures about 15″ x 72″ (40 cm x 170 cm) without the fringe.
